I Scream for Ice Cream Challenge

Hello everyone,
This week's challenge at Fantabulous Cricut is "I Scream for Ice Cream". You have to make a project with a cool treat (i.e., ice cream, popsicle, cold drink, etc.). I made an invitation card using "Sweet Treats" and "Celebration".

Recipe
Materials
Cricut Cartridge: Sweet Treats
Sundae: 5.5"
Cricut Cartridge: Celebration
Phrase: 1.5"
Pop Dots
Adhesive
Black fine tip market
Stickles: Diamond
Cardstock: Brown, Pink, Beige, Robin blue

Directions
  1. Using the gypsy and sweet treat cartridge, I used the sundae at 5.5". I copied the image and flipped it vertically.
  2. Then I welded the two images and cut it.
  3. I cut the layers, adhered to the card
  4. Stickled the phrase
  5. On the inside, I hand wrote the information of the invitation card.
This was such a fun project to do. I loved using my gypsy, it made making the card a lot quicker.

Wish me luck.

Okay, I posted my old projects, hopefully it is enough for Robyn to consider me to be part of her design team. I really want this opportunity. I haven't had my blog for 3 months, I've had it for 2 months and like 2 weeks. Robyn please, consider it. Well wish me luck. I'm crossing my fingers.
This was my first year teaching Kindergarten, I only had 7 students so I was able to make a one page layout and frame it for my students.
Here it is.

I did this for the other Kindergarten teacher students. I did on a 8"x8" card stock and fold it in half.

Past Projects

I have been scrapbooking for a little over 2 years now. I started by getting the Cricut Expression. At the beginning it took me a while to start using it. After getting use to it, I use it almost for everything I make. The first scrapbook I made took me 8 hours, it wasn't that good. As I practice I got better. My second scrapbook, which it was better than the first one but still not compare to what I do now, was for my nephew, he has been in boy scouts since he was 5. He began as a cub scout and when he was ready to become a boy scout I gave it to him as a gift. About 6 months past and I made a scrapbook for my big sister, a cruise she took to the bahamas. I posted pictures of some of the layouts because this is where my good work began. A couple of months past by and my niece wanted me to make her scrapbook. I posted some of the layouts here too because it just got better.

Here is some of my past projects.

Happy Birthday!!!

I used my Cricut Imagine to cut out the letters, I used "Blast Off." The letters were printed and cut at 2 inches. After cutting one side I flip the letter and cut it, then glued the letter on sticks. This way no matter where you are standing you could see both sides and the back side won't look white. You could also make cupcake toppers.

Firework Layout

This layout was inspire by Katy Perry's "Firework" song. I used the Independence Day cartridge. I've had this cartridge since last year but really never used it. Since 4th of July is coming up and I love Katy Perry I decide to make the layout.

The Fireworks were cut at 3 inches
The exploding fireworks were cut at 2.5 inches.
All the writing was cut at 1 inch.
