Fantabulous Challenege #72

This week's challenge over at fantabulous Cricut is to make any project with a bug in it. I was so excited because that same day I received my peachy keen stamp - once upon a princess faces and my pink stamper - buggy punnies stamps. As soon as I got I wanted to use it.

Here is what I created






Cricut Cartridge: once upon a princess
Card stock: magenta, light pink, teal, white, peach, lime green and black.
Stickles: magenta, lime green, waterfall






I cut the cloud at 2 1/2".
I used cotton to put on the clouds.
Stickles used on the stars: lime green, magenta, and waterfall






I love butterflies so this is the bug I decided to use for the challenge.
I cut the butterfly at 1 3/4"
Stickies: magenta, and lime green



I cut the girl at 4 1/2"
Stickles: magenta and waterfall
I used the i-rock to put the crystals on the bow and belt of the dress.

Bath time




I am making a scrapbook for a friend that is having baby. The layouts will consist of the baby's first year. This is the first one I have made, for the baby's first bath.










Cricut Cartridge: Baby Steps, image cut at 4.5"
Card stock: brown, beige, peach,white, light blue, and yellow.
Stickles: Yellow.
Glossy accent on the white bubbles.



Cricut Cartridge: New Arrival, phrase cut at 4"
Card stock: yellow and light blue
Stickles: yellow
Glossy accent on bubbles.

Card stock: white, light blue, the one on the tub was a scrap I had.
Stickles: baby blue, star dust.

Friends Layout

Ever since I got the toy story cartridge I been wanting to do a layout with the phrase "You've got a friend a me" The challenge this week at Fantabulous Friday is to make a fun project for a friend. Here is what I made using the Toy Story Cartridge.



Cricut Cartridge: Pooh Font Set - Used gypsy to weld the words - cut at 2".
Light Blue Card Stock
Stickle: Baby Blue

To cut this characters you need a lot of patience, there is a lot of small pieces you need to glue. All the characters and phrase were pop - dot and they were cut at 5.5".

For the Buzz I used the following card stock: peach, lime green, light purple, baby blue, black, white and chalked it with gray chalk.
Stickles: Lime green
On the cover for his head I put the glossy accent to make it seem like glass.
Buzz was the hardest cut. A lot of small pieces to glue.

For Woody I used the following cardstock: yellow, peach. brown, blue, red, white and black
Stickles: Yellow, Xmas Red.

Cardstock: blue, yellow, red
Stickles: Xmas Red.
This was the easiest cut.

Cardstock: light brown. brown, peach, white, blue, yellow, and red
Stickles: Cinnamon, Yellow, Xmas Red.
I flipped bullseye so he would be looking at Jessie.

Love Cards

My niece and her friend came over today and they wanted to make a card for their fathers.

Light purple card stock = 6" x 7 1/2".
Dark purple card stock = 5 1/2" x 7". Punch the top using America Girl punch.
Cricut Cartridge: Just a Note (it comes preloaded on the Cricut Expression 2)
Pop - Dot the two heart.

This is the inside of one of the cards.
Cricut Cartridge: Pooh Font Set - Using the Gypsy I welded the words and cut them at 2".
Stickle: Starry Night
Cricut Catridge: Just a Note ( Comes preloaded on the Cricut Expression 2). The red splatter is left over of the red cut of the bird.
The butterflies are from the punch used on the front of the card.
